Arthur Christmas is an upcoming British/American 3-D computer animated film being produced by Aardman Animations and Sony Pictures Animation, and slated for release on November 11, 2011, in the UK, and on November 23, 2011, in the USA.[2] The film is being directed by Sarah Smith, co-directed by Barry Cook, and it stars James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent and Bill Nighy. Set on the North Pole, the plot tells about Santa's son Arthur Christmas, who must complete a mission before Christmas morning.
